Hillsborough County Veterans Helping Veterans is no longer able to support veterans outside Hillsborough County. Previous funding we received from fellow veterans and businesses along with a grant from the Tampa Bay lightning did not stipulate where the money was to be spent. Those funds have run out.
We anticipate receiving funds from the city of Tampa and Hillsborough County very soon. Those agreements do stipulate the funds are to be spent for residents of the city and county.
Our annual golf tournament fundraiser is planned for March 2027. At that time we may open back up the surrounding counties.
